About my blog!!

Cluttered Harmony is the state of my thoughts all the time!!

It's how I see the world!! Embracing the good with the bad, the pure with the impure, Yin with Yang!!

I hope that after reading you too start to look at the world around you with a brand new perspective!!

Cheers :)

Cluttered Harmony

Ever thought about what would come to be,
If a cemetery mated with the Dead Sea?

What if the Earth was really flat and not round,
Would we really fall off from the ground?

If dogs would mew and cats would bark,
Would Noah have taken them aboard his Ark?

If plants could walk and carnivores gave up meat,
How soon would all the green around us deplete?

What if we had four hands and two tails?
How would we keep them from swaying while we clipped our nails?

If days were dark and nights would become bright,
Would the Boogeyman hide from us out of fright?

What would it be like if we ran on batteries like our toys?
How many would be needed for all the girls and boys?

When God wants to reward them who've not been naughty,
Does he simply say - Beam them up Scotty?

What if my thoughts were not in this state of Cluttered Harmony?
Could I have posted this poem for you to see?

What is Silence?

Silence, we all say is when there is no sound -

Silence is the bottom of the deepest sea,
Capable of awakening the seeker in me,

It is the middle of the desert, where no life is found,
It is the shadow that we cast on the ground,

It is the coldest corner of the graveyard at night,
It is in between the wing beats of a bird in flight,

It is the movement if the clouds across the sky,
It is the grin of the little girl we all think is shy,

It cannot be spoken thought it is a word,
Attaining it ensures your every question answered,

Silence is not silent, it speaks eloquently,
Silence is never still, it leads eloquently,

It is the sound of rest, not of pain,
It is how every sound can be dissolved and yet cannot be blamed..

The Little Girl from Peru

There was once a little girl from Peru,

Who fell in love with a little black shoe,

She asked her lazy father to buy it for her,

But he simply beat her black and blue,

Angry and determined she had become,

Always wondering about what to do,

She took up a job at the local bakery,

And saved herself lots of pennies few,

Now happily she trotted towards the store,

To buy herself the pretty black shoe,

When on the street she saw a little girl,

Who was no older than a year or maybe two,

She wore torn clothes that barely covered her,

And shed tears that glistened like the morning dew,

Our little girl went to this unlucky kid,

And did exactly what any good little girl would do,

She gave her all the money that she had saved,

So she could try to begin her life anew....
