Darkness swells, the storm gathers,
She swallows her fears, sends a prayer to her fathers,
The world in limbo, demons everywhere,
Wreaking havoc, killing with no care,
Their malice, raining blood, from red skies above,
Draining life, erasing hope and sucking out all love,
The Devil's succubae, sucking dry our life,
His demonic lieutenants and their hordes, multiplying our fear and strife,
The seven circles of his domain, encircling us all,
Slowly degenerating us l, guiding us to our downfall,
The flames of his mirth, seductively dance through his gates,
His will poured forth, with an intent to erase all our fates,
Our warriors have long been slain, the demons rejoice,
With each of our fallen, their strength and numbers rise,
Only a matter of time now, they're He's in complete control,
We will lose everything - mind, body and soul...
The light, we call her, makes her stand, hope, her Armour, will, her sword,
Slaying his legions, freeing us one by one, making her way to the Dark Lord,
The sun at her back, a halo bright, inch by inch, she's reaching him,
Falling countless of his allies, slaying all in his kin,
Gauntlets of confidence, stirrups of happiness don did she,
They finally approach each other, what a battle this will be,
As they prepare to strike the first blow,
The world waits, with bated breath, and time begins to slow..
Slow, calm, sure, they measure each other and determine their rival's strength,
Moving not to kill, but with an intent to make the other relent,
Their blades flashing like lightning, their steeds charging like claps of thunder,
Their battle, witnessed by the Heavens, shaking all the realms asunder,
He, showing his strength, testing her, with tremendous skill,
She, holding her own, fighting a fallen God, powered by her will,
Bested by him once too many, she's waiting for her once chance,
For that one moment, where in his smugness, he errs in his stance,
Seizing her moment she lunges, and her Lance drives through,
A bright flash, an implosion, he falls, for her aim held true,
She lies on the field, next to his ashen remains,
Looking at the sky, smiling, as the blue Pierce's through the red stains,
She closes her eyes, for the last time, seeing her forces approaching,
Fading to black as they kneel, with a reverence not subjected ever to any a king,
Another bright light from within her, brighter than the sun, I daresay,
Shot up, illuminated the world, and settled as the moon, visible to this day,
Her sacrifice selfless, her watch eternal,
The source of inspiration, in many a journal
The warrior queen, the goddess of hope, she's fondly called,
The one, who single-handedly, did not let our world fall..
